DermFolio does not review your photos, identify medical conditions, detect changes, assess risk, or determine whether you should seek medical care. You are solely responsible for deciding whether to consult a physician or other licensed healthcare professional.
Always seek the advice of a licensed healthcare professional with any questions about your health, skin, moles, lesions, rashes, symptoms, or medical condition. Do not disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information stored in or displayed by DermFolio.
If you believe you may have a medical emergency, call 911 or seek emergency medical care immediately.
Your use of DermFolio does not create a physician-patient, healthcare provider-patient, or other professional relationship between you and DermFolio, us, or any third party.
DermFolio does not connect you with clinicians, provide telehealth services, or enable diagnosis or treatment unless we expressly offer those services under separate terms in the future.
You may use DermFolio only if you can form a binding agreement with us and are not prohibited from using the Service under applicable law.
DermFolio is not intended for children under 13. Users under 18 may use DermFolio only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian.
You are responsible for the photos, notes, labels, dates, and other information you add to DermFolio. You are responsible for ensuring that information you enter is accurate, lawful, and appropriate for your use.
You should not rely on DermFolio as your sole copy of important records. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups and for protecting access to your device.
DermFolio is designed to store your records locally on your device. Device settings, operating system behavior, iCloud, backups, and sharing tools may affect how your data is stored, backed up, exported, or shared. We do not control Apple, iCloud, your device backup configuration, or third-party services you choose to use.
You may use DermFolio only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

DermFolio, including its name, design, software, text, graphics, icons, and other content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use DermFolio for your personal, non-commercial use.
You retain ownership of the photos, notes, and other content you create or store using DermFolio.
You are responsible for any content you create, store, export, or share using DermFolio. You represent that you have the rights necessary to use that content and that your use will not violate law or third-party rights.
DermFolio does not claim ownership of your photos, notes, or personal records.
If you download DermFolio from the Apple App Store, your use of the App is also subject to Apple’s applicable terms and conditions.
Apple is not responsible for providing maintenance or support for DermFolio. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no warranty obligation with respect to DermFolio. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue DermFolio or any part of it at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date and may provide additional notice where appropriate.
Your continued use of DermFolio after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
DermFolio may include links or integrations with third-party services, such as device-level sharing, backup, or app-store services. We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them is governed by their terms and privacy policies.
DermFolio is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and reliability.
We do not warrant that DermFolio will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, accurate, or that data will not be lost. You are responsible for maintaining backups and protecting your device.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, loss of profits, personal injury, emotional distress, or other damages arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use DermFolio.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to DermFolio or these Terms will not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid to use DermFolio in the twelve months before the claim arose; or (b) fifty dollars ($50).
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless us and our officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, and service providers from and against claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or relating to your misuse of DermFolio, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, or your violation of any third-party rights.
You may stop using DermFolio at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to DermFolio if we believe you have violated these Terms or if continued access may create risk for us, other users, or third parties.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [New York or your preferred state], without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except to the extent preempted by federal law.
Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at support@dermfolio.app so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
